Notarishuis Arnhem, established since 1959 in a historic building located on one of the most beautiful streets of Arnhem’s citycentre, is among the most renowned Dutch auction houses. The monumental building on Bakkerstraat is the characteristic decor of three Art and Antiques Auctions and six Property Auctions held yearly under the supervision of the Arnhem’s office of notary.

Viewing days, pleasant and surprising.
During our engaging viewing days (no admission charge, also in the weekend), preceding every auction, you can examine all the items coming under the hammer. Surprising discoveries can be made. All categories of the objects for sale have a fixed spot in the Notarishuis. The paintings, for example, hang mainly downstairs in the “auction room” and the silver and jewellery are presented in the “silver room” on the first floor. Our employees, who will also be present, will gladly give you all the desired information at your request.
